Homemade Pressies

Early this month The Glams (Team meeting) met for Dinner for our end of year gathering.
Alison Hydes who is my upline gave this as a Christmas present.
It is a notepad inside a standard (clear mount) stamp case, she has used English Garden DSP from the main Catty.
She also made an envelope using the Envelope Punch Board, which is handy for notes ore receipts and included a Stampin' Up pen
I have made some as pressies.
I have used Farmers Market DSP, the butterfly is cut using the Bold Butterfly and Butterflies Thinlits, they were cut from Gold Glimmer Paper and Rich Razzleberry Card Stock.
This one is for Mother in law, so have put an H on it for Helen, yes she is a Helen too.
 The DSP is English Garden.
 This is for Rebecca.
This DSP will be available on the 5th January 2016.
It's a 12 x 12 stack of 48 sheets 4each of 12 double sided designs called It's My Party DSP Stack.
I added a calendar to my version which I printed and cut to size.

Happy Birthday Joy

Yesterday was my friend Joy's birthday.
I used one of the bags I had made for the WOW at The GLAMS team meeting.
I filled it with some ribbon and other embellishments and of course some chocolate.
The flower is another variation using the Decorative Label Punch.

When I looked at them, the second from the bottom on the right jumped out at me.
I swapped the sentiment and embellishment.

The Stamp Set is Fabulous Four, stamped with Watermelon Wonder and I added Basic Pearls to the dots between the words.
Then I wrapped Gold Metallic Bakers Twine around the card.
This the inside using happy birthday from Butterfly Basics.

Mojo has been found

I have been missing my Mojo for paper crafting, I think a lot of it is that I still need to sort my craft room.
I was on the brink of not continuing with Stampin' Up.
At 11th hour I decided that it was okay to be a hubby demo and enjoy the benefits of a discount on my product.
I have struggled with myself mostly about not getting my business up and running since moving here to Christchurch nearly 2 years ago.
Just after I had placed my order to stay current as a demo and my BBB (big brown box) had arrived, I was asked by 2 demonstrators if I would do the WOW for our Team Meeting last night.
So I agreed and had to first find my craftroom, then my mojo.
I decided to show case the Gift Bag Punch Board, which I really hummed and hared about buying which I'm so glad I did, it is so versatile you can bags as it suggests to boxes etc.
Here's a large box that I made to our our standard size cards (14.8cm x 10.5cm).
I have used Mint Macaron, Pacific Point Card Stock and Pretty Petals DSP Stack.
The flower is made using the Decorative Label Punch.
Bibi Cameron has a video on them here.
I made 6 cards to go into the gift box.
I cased them from Dawn Griffith.
I have used the Hello You Thinlits.
I made 2 birthday cards.
 2 Hello Cards.
2 thanks cards.

Party Day was a Success

Yesterday was party day.
Samuel celebrated his birthday with 4 of his friends.
I found the banner online as a free printables, there was lots to chose from I did a google search, the banner that printable did say birthday party we chose to print out the letters one at a time to get the word happy instead.
When I got home from work yesterday morning after doing a sleep over I blow up these balloons and drew on creeper faces.
Here is the creeper pinata that I made using the heaver card that is at the back of our DSP packs and covered it in crepe paper, it looked good hanging in the wind from the tree.
When the boy arrived they made made minecraft faces using lots of squares of card, which I cut into 1 inch squares, the left over squares will be going to the local kindy this week.
 Present time.
Here's the ice cream cake that Savannah made and iced for him.
The boys loved the potion of healing, again they were printables.
The cups were just plain green cup, I made a stencil and coloured it with a vivid.
There will be no girlfriends this year as he blow all the candles in one blow.
The labels are printables and are power ups in the game.
Pinata time, they love having turns with the diamond sword to break the pinata.
They all have a great time.

Happy Birthday Samuel

Today is our youngest birthday, Samuel hits double figures 6pm tonight.
Interesting fact for you, all our babies were born very close to 6am or 6pm.
Samuel is having a Minecraft party this coming Saturday.
Here is his birthday card.
It is a Creeper card.
To get all the squares I cut 1/2" stripes of Mossy Meadow, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi Card Stock, I glued them with Glue Stick to copy paper to striped card, then I cut them into 1/2" strips going across the stripes. Then I used the Bargello Technique to make the background.
I used the Crazy about You Stamp set to stamp birthday and the Hello You Thinlits happy, that you can buy in a bundle together and save 15%
I used the Big Day SAB Stamp Set in the inner, I stamped it with  Memento Ink and used Blendies to colour the birthday.

Lotus Blossom Card Set

I'm enjoying using the Lotus Blossom Stamp Set.
I have used Note Cards and Envelopes to make this set.
There are 4 cards in a set.
I have decided to enter this project into this weeks Can You Case It Challenge
CYCI#58
I have stamped the blossom in different shades of reds and pinks.
This one is Melon Manbo and Blushing Bride.
This one is Real Red and Rose Red.
This is Rose Red and Melon Mambo.
This is Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride.
I framed the blossom with the square Fun Frames to give some texture.
For the front of the folder I used Freshly Made Sketches Challenge sketch FMS#174.
The diagonal stripe is made from dry wall tape then I coloured it with Melon Mambo Blendie.
I saw this on Frenchie Blog.
I used the Oval Framelits to cut the blossom out.
I used 5/8' Organza Ribbon to tie the folder to complete the set.
