Lotus Blossom Card Set

I'm enjoying using the Lotus Blossom Stamp Set.
I have used Note Cards and Envelopes to make this set.
There are 4 cards in a set.
I have decided to enter this project into this weeks Can You Case It Challenge
CYCI#58
I have stamped the blossom in different shades of reds and pinks.
This one is Melon Manbo and Blushing Bride.
This one is Real Red and Rose Red.
This is Rose Red and Melon Mambo.
This is Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride.
I framed the blossom with the square Fun Frames to give some texture.
For the front of the folder I used Freshly Made Sketches Challenge sketch FMS#174.
The diagonal stripe is made from dry wall tape then I coloured it with Melon Mambo Blendie.
I saw this on Frenchie Blog.
I used the Oval Framelits to cut the blossom out.
I used 5/8' Organza Ribbon to tie the folder to complete the set.

Thinking of You Lotus Blossom

Yesterday at craft group I put ink to my Lotus Blossom Stamp Set for the first time.
I stamped in a variety of colours and made charts for my craftroom wall.
This is beside my table and is a great reference.
Then last night as I was checking my emails and Patty Bennett had posted on her blog a Lotus Blossom card which I promptly cased.
The colours I used were Calypso Coral, Basic Grey and Whisper White.
I stamped the blossom with Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe and Wild Wasibi and Pear Pizzaz for the stem..
I also used Epic Day Washi Tape, The thinking of you comes from Sassy Salutations and the stripe is from Butterfly Basics Stamp Set.
This was quick and simple card that came together very easily.
I'm entering it in the 'Can You Case It' Challenge CYCI#57
This is the inside.
I have made this card for dear friends in Dunedin.

Sheltering Tree

This weeks challenge over at Around the world Stampin' Up Challenges is a colour challenge.
Surprisingly the card came together quite quickly and easily.
Some of you would know that I struggle with the pale pinks, Blushing Bride I can cope with, the others my skin crawls when I use them so hence I don't use them much.
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSS256
The Sheltering Tree Stamp Set is a two step stamping in photopolymer, there is 14 stamps in the set.
The possibility with this set are endless, I'm looking forward to playing some more with it.
I used Circle Collection Framelits to cut the circles and the strip of Very Vanilla is cut from Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.
I embossed the Chocolate Chip with Decorative Dots.
To finish this card I added a row of Pearls.
 This is the inside.
This card will be jetting it's way to Wellington tomorrow to dear friends who are struggling at the moment.

The piece of doily is from the kit also, I used Simply Pressed Clay to make the rose and coloured it with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker.
I added some Epic Day Designer Washi Tape and some Real Taffeta Ribbon.
For the inside I used a piece of Irresistibly Yours SDSP from SAB and sponged it with Crumb Cake and Real Red Ink.

I am loving the 'Moon Lake' Stamp Set.
It's a set of 6 stamps' 3 images and 3 sentiments.
It's a great set to use for men's cards, but equally as nice in feminine colours.
I have used Mossy Meadow and Sahara Sand colour combo.
The background is embossed Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
I have used faux suede technique for the strips of Sahara Sand and add to Candy Dots to complete them.
I love the shading on the stamp, so all I have done is used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour the image.
I accidentally splashed water over my image (don't ask me how) but I did and I like the effect it gives
I used the Deco Labels and Circle Collection Framelits.
This is the inide of the card, I like to add something from the front to the inner.
Here's another card very similar, I embossed this with Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.
I raised the Mossy Meadow embossed piece with Stampin' Dimensials.
To finish the card I stamped hello you from the Crazy About You Stamp Set, then punch Modern Label and coloured to pearls with Old Olive Blendabilities Marker.
The inner is the same as the card above.
Well that is enough from me, it time you hop on over to see Pauline Bennetts wonderful creations.

Lovely as Tree and Moon Lake

I have cased this card from Kathleen Stamps
She has used different stamps and framelits.
I used Deco Labels Collection Framelits and needed to use Tangelo Twist.
I Stazon stamped the bird and used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour, then did some fussy cutting and mounted the bird with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The colour combo is Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist and Whisper White.
To complete the card I added Dazzling Details to the trees and added some Linen Thread.
For the inside I stamped the bird then did some sponging.

Inspired by Carolyn's Swap

Last Wednesday evening we had a team meeting, for those of us doing swaps we had to do 11.
I love swaps they were all so wonderful and full of lots of inspiration.
I really loved what Carolyn Bushby had done with the Bow Builder Punch.
Isn't she a clever chick, she was so proud of herself (rightly so) that it was her original, that she hadn't seen it online anywhere.
Here is my take on Carolyn's card.
I Both Carolyn and I have used Best Year Ever DSP and Best Year Ever Accessory Pack (ribbon).
Which you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration.
I added a Simply Pressed Clay rose and coloured it in Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker.
I used Apothecary Accents Thinlits and used Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.
I embossed the Costal Cabana with the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
