Blog Candy

I'm sorry for absence from here this week, if you would like a note from my Mother I will get her to leave a comment for you.
I have been under the weather this week, there was 4 days were I didn't get dressed, even to take Samuel school I just put my coat over top of my PJs, I slept and watched DVDs.
I'm now feeling a lot better now, which is just as well because I'm off to Christchurch tomorrow morning (Fri) I have a workshop in Hornby and on Saturday our Team is having a Team Mini Convention Day.
So I have been working on swaps, which I will show you next week.
When I started feeling better, I felt like sewing so I have made myself a new skirt and some gorgeous Tool Caddies.
Now one of my many addictions is Fabric, yes I admit I'm a fabric alcoholic.
I can't walk pass a remnant box with out a rummage through it.
My friend Deirde before Christmas was having a sort out and gave me boxes on boxes of fabric and bits and pieces. All my Christmases had come a once.
I sorted through it, put most of it in my fabric cupboard and I still had a box that I didn't want or thought would be too small to use, it was luckly still in our garage.
This was a tutorial from the last round of Ustamp with Dawn and Friends, Big Shot Brilliance.
Tanya Bell designed this project, thanks Tanya for your inspiration.
I loved this round, even thro it was a bit frustrating at times when a lot off the projects used dies we don't have here in NZ.
But boy do I have some fantastic projects up my sleeve or should I say Hard Drive, to do when we get them.
This is using the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die from the Summer Mini which is a carry over product.
Contact me to order yours.
This week I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for 2 years now.
Who would like some blog Candy?
To Celebrate I will give one lucky reader one of these Tool Caddies.
Leave a comment before Monday 30th May 6pm, telling me
What your favourite Stampin' Up Product is?
Mine would have to be the Big Shot and all the accessories.
LOVE LOVE IT!!!
Please leave your email address so I can contact you.
I will back on Tuesday to annouce the winner.

  1. Sorry to hear that you haven't been well Helen. These bags are lovely. You've done agreat job. I went to sew a shabby bag yesterday and found I had no cotton. So once I get some I think I'll have a go at these bags as well. Can you bring one for Saturday?

I love these little bags, they are so cute. just the right size to hold the important items, you always need right at hand.

My favorite SU product would have to be my markers, i don't have many pads, as i just love using my markers, they are so versatile, you can do anything with them,

Take care and get better soon

    (2) WOW...those caddies are AWESOME.Each one has it's own personality. I think it's all in the way you describe ur addiction....you're not a fabric alcoholic.....instead...ur a FAB-o-holic!!!
    (3) Now the tuff one...my fave SU thing....hmmmmmmmm. I love so much. I love the fact that SU cuts my procrastination factor HUGELY by having all things co-ordinated. I am loving the fact that thru SU w'shops etc that I have grown and expanded on my "just cards" gig and now make boxes, bookmarks...all sorts of things. Mostly tho....I cherish the friends and friendships I have made thru SU. Some of my closest pals are folk that I have never met, I just started reading their blogs and commented...or found the odd one on CA (ringing any bells???) Far and away...the Best thing I have gotten fm finding SU. ooxx
