On Monday I checked my emails and found that I had won a Free Pass to the 'Oh My Word' UStamp.
I was so excited, I could have easily phoned in sick for mainly music, so I could play (I didn't).
I had to also complete my swaps for Saturdays Regionals in Dunedin and to make my name badge, so when I had them finished I able to play.
Here's a sneak peek for you.
Then of course we all know what happened on Tuesday, we felt it down here in Timaru.
Our thoughts and prayer go to all the people of Christchurch.
It such a terrible disaster, I have felt quite sick ever since.
All our family and a lot of friends live in Christchurch, they are all OK.
On Tuesday my Dad celebrated his 70th Birthday, when I got hold him on the phone I asked him if he had caused this much trouble when he was born? Joking like.
He replied well..... he was been born it was in a middle of an air raid with all the sirens going, his family was rushing to the shelter and he and his mother were been rushed to the hospital.
I had never heard that story before.
My heart is aching for all the families who are missing loved ones, you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
love that gorgeous top sneak peak! How great would that be for a masculine card? Might have to add that to the list of things to try. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHey Helen your swap looks like it has used the same technique that I have used for my regional swaps. Just as well we going to different regionals. LOL
