World of Dreams

Today I am combining two challenges.
Just Add Ink #296 - Just Add Nature and Global Design Project #021 / Colour Challenge.
I have used World of Dreams, which I purchased last year and hadn't inked it up.

I had seen the technique Clear Block Background with Markers on Julie Davison a US Demo Here.
It's very easy and made for a very quick and simply card to make so I made two with different card stock.
This Card Stock is the Shimmery card, the water pooled a bit on this card.
I love the effect that it created.
This one is Whisper White Card Stock.
Every background you do with this technique will be different even if it is the same card.
The Whisper White card says Better Get Better from A Dozen Thoughts.
The Shimmery card says It's Your Day from Sunburst Sayings.
You can buy Sunburst Sayings and Sunburst Thinlit Die in a bundle and save 15%.
I hope to get a chance to play with the die next week.
The inside of the both I stamped the leaves in the corner.
I added Happy Birthday to you in the middle of the birthday card from Sunburst Sayings.
I left the get well card blank.
Have you got something you purchased and haven't used?
Here's a challenge, I challenge you use that something in your next project.
Do pop over top both challenge sites and join in the fun.

  1. I love the beautiful atmospheric backgrounds you got by inking up your block Helen. The black silhouetted foliage looks wonderful framed against it. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

  2. This "smooshing" technique was a great choice for this rather hard colour challenge Helen. Those three colours work well together on the same block. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week!
