Just for You

Here's another card I made yesterday.
Was playing with water colour effects.
I had seen Bokeh Technique a lot last year on blog but didn't try it until yesterday.
Splitcoaststampers have a tutorial HERE.

I have used Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Whisper White.
I have used Botanicals for You Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set.
I embossed on top of the Bokeh back ground, then add some Rhinestones for some bling.

Hello Baby

I have been busy in my craft room today.
This card I used the sketch from The Paper Players.
PP279
The Elephant was cased from Kelly Kent a Aussie demo.
Isn't it so cute, he is made using the tea pot from the Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies and 1" Circle Punch.
Go and visit Kelly's blog.
I used the World Traveler Embossing Folder for the Soft Sky background.
The colours are Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White.
I have used Have a Nice Cuppa DSP Stack which matches the dies and Have a Nice Cuppa Stamp Set I used on yesterdays card, you can see it here.
The Hello Baby is from Crazy about you Stamp Set.
The inside sentiment is from Rose Wonder Stamp Set.
Go and check out the Paper Players and have a play along.

A Nice Cuppa

Yesterday I made a card using some more new product that arrived in the BBB yesterday.
I'm loving the Occasions Catalogue, I think it might be the best one that Stampin' Up has put out.
My wish list was/is still long.
Today the Stamp Set is A Nice Cuppa.
The colours I have used are Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon and Whisper White.
There are 11 photopolymer stamps in the set.
I have used this weeks sketch  CYCI#104 from Can You Case It Challenge site.
The lace stamp is from Grateful Bunch Stamp Set also in the Occasions Catty.
I love that it looks like the tea cup is sitting on a shelf or table with lacy table cloth on it.
I cased this idea from Lyssa from Song of my heart blog, she is a US demo.
I used a Tea Lace Doily for the circle shape on the sketch.
Grateful Bunch is set of 8 Photopolymer Stamps and there is a matching punch to match to the flowers in the set.

I stamped the tea cup first in Softy Sky, them stamped the words in Lost Lagoon on top.
The I used the matching Cups and Kettle Framelits Die, with you can buy in a bundle and save 15%.
I untwisted some retired bakers twine to separate the fibres and tied a bow with it.
In the inside I stamped the lace border and a sentiment.
Go and look at the CYCI site, there is still plenty of time to play along.

Birthday Blooms

I had a BBB (big brown box) arrive today with lots of toys oops I meant tools.
In the box there was Birthday Blooms Stamp Set which I ordered in wood when I normally buy clear mount.
But because I made this mistake I can show a tip I  saw online the other week.
Take a photo of the wood blocks before you remove to mount them, so you know how to put them back into the case.
I have used this Stamp Set for today's card.
It's a great stamp set for water colouring, I coloured it with Mint Macron and Wink of Stella Gold for the leaves and centre of the flower.
I have used this weeks colours over at The Colour Tree, go over and have a look and join in the fun.
I popped over to TCT yesterday to look at the top pick for lasts week's challenge.
Guess who got the top pick? YES ME. Go check out my card I entered HERE
I used the sketch from Pals Paper Arts Challenge, pop over there and have look also and join in the fun.
The Wink of Stella Gold Pen was also in the BBB.
The pen gives a real glitz to your work, the photo doesn't do it justice.
I Embossed the Mint Macron Card with Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I stamped a little flower in the inside of the card.
It's a gorgeous set of 8 Stamps.

Be Mine

Here's another card I got made this weekend.
I have used The sketch from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches FMS#220.
I'm also entering in for the Global Design Project #GDP019 Theme Challenge LOVE
I cut the flowers out using the Blooming Heart Thinlits, the sentiment and flower on the inside is from the matching Stamp Set Bloomin' Love.
I mounted the Whisper White Card up with Stampin' Dimensionals, over Red Glimmer Paper.
Then I added some Rhinestone.
I glued 3 of the flowers cut out from the front into the inside.
It's another  clean and simple card, funny how are styles change because I have struggled in the past to do simple.
Go and have a look at both challenge sites and my be play along or just get lots of inspiration.

The Colour Tree Challenge

I have been playing again this afternoon (insert big smiley face).
I grabbed the colours Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Rose Red and Whisper White.
These are the colours for this weeks challenge over at Bronwyn Eastley Blog, This only the second challenge TCT#2.
This challenge closes in just 4 hours so hence the second post today.
I have used Field of Flowers which is a Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set that you can earn when to spend $110.
I stamped with Black StazOn Ink on Shimmery White Card Stock, then spritzed water on the card and sponged across the card.
When I set it aside to let it dry it dropped on Blushing Bride Ink Pad that was open on the bench, I like how it has highlighted the middle flower I tried to recreate it on another piece of card but couldn't get the same.
I punched out with the Washi Tape and stamped sympathy on the Crumb Cake underneath.
For the inside I stamped a flower in the corner and sponged over it.
Tomorrow evening Bronwyn will post the next challenge go over have a play.

Bloomin' Love

Last night at work I thinking about the sketch for this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge.
I came up with an idea and was looking forward to getting home so I could play.
The colours are Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Whisper White.
I have used the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits, I cut them it out with the Big Shot using the Precision Plate and them used Big Shot Brush to get it out of the die.
It came out so easy, hoary no more stinky drier sheets for me.
I used Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper for the heart.

The thinlits have a coordinating Stamp Set called Bloomin' Love it's a photopolymer set of 16 and you can buy in a bundle and 15%.
The flower on the inside of the card is from Bloomin' Love.
The get well message on the front of the card are from A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set.
I finished of the by running a round the Whisper White square withe Bermuda Bay Marker, mounting with Stampin' Dimensionals and adding some Candy Dots.
Go over to Just Add Ink and have a look the designers cards and also play along.

Craftroom

Thanks to those of you who told me the video doesn't work, I have now fixed the problem.
When I moved into the room that was going was going to be my craftroom.
We made do with an old dinning room table and a cut down corner computer desk which lean on a book case and a small school desk, until we could effort a better solution.
It wasn't a good thing as a lot of my stuff was still in boxes, and I didn't craft much only out of necessary.
In the middle of last year I drew up the plans for what I wanted/needed.
We went to Bunnings and got the materials needed, but then the job that dear hubby Paul was working every other week over in Hokitika on the West Coast shifted the finishing date of the project and he was required over there every week so my craftroom went on hold.
Over the Christmas holidays Paul had 4 weeks off work, so he worked on my shelving.
He has made a AB Fab job of them.
This is the 2 bookcases I used all of last year.
This is my sewing cabinet, on top I have completed cards and a photo thigy that I put swaps or cards for displsy.
This is my card stock cabinet for both A4 and 12 x 12 card ands and DSP.
On top I have my Big Shot and cutting station.
My latest purchase was this cloud shelf that I got from K-Mart yesterday which I have my re-inkers in, I love K- Mart.
I have a easel and canvas on the bench, this year I'm going to teach myself to paint.
In this area I can sit and create, underneath I have my wool and yarns and a box of scraps that will go the local kindy.
In the shelves under the bench I have made wire baskets to store tools, marker and sponges etc.
Here is where my computer is and I can create here as well especially if I have someone over to craft with me.
Here is a we video showing you all my room.
I'm so grateful to have such a clever husband like Paul, he is going to make me ink pad and punch holders.
Paul I love to the Moon and back and beyond.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my craft room, I'm looking forward to getting some creating going.
On the white board by my computer I have written different craft challenges that I would like to partake in.
It's so good to have mojo back yay.
To think last year I was thinking of giving up being a demo, it was Paul who encouraged me to stay active.
He's a good great man.
