Blended Bloom

I have made this card for the colours of this weeks challenge over at The Colour Tree.
 This week's colours, TCTC #11.
I have used Blended Bloom Stamp, I stamped it in Black Stazon Ink then masked it and stamped until my piece of Watercolour Paper was full of blooms.
I painted the blooms with Aqua Painters.
I embossed the Night of Navy card with Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.
To complete the card I stamped the bloom on the inside.

From the Outside

Today's  card I have used this weeks colour challenge over at The Colour Tree.

I embossed the Whisper White Card Stock with Brick Wall Embossing Folder, then sponged it with Tip Top Taupe.
The embossed Calypso Coral I found in my scrap box already embossed, the folder has now retired.
I thought that it would look like drapes.

The window frame is cut from Hearth and House Thinlits Dies and the window box and sentiment is from the matching Happy Home Stamp Set.

I used Blooming Heart Thinlits to cut the flowers.
I used Candy Dots to finish of the flowers.
I stamped some flowers inside the card.
Pop on over to The Colour Tree and join in the fun.

Here is a another project using the Gift Bag Punch Board.
I'm so in love with this board it is so versatile.
Libby Dyson an Aussie demo has the video tutorial for this on her Blog found HERE.
I have used the Timeless Elegance DSP, I love this DSP.
The colours in the DSP are Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla.
I sponged the roses with Watermelon Wonder Ink.
I decorated the milk carton with tag of Watermelon Wonder, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla using the Triple Banner Punch.
The stamp set is Words of truth.
The rose is made using Spiral Flower Die which I dipped into Dazzling Diamonds.
The ribbon is 1/8" Silver Ribbon.

Paper Pals Art Colour Challenge

Here is a bigger purse I have made thinking it would be good for about 15 cards and envelopes.
It was a challenge for me, the colour I struggled with was Wisteria Wonder.
I'm pleased with it but I think I will have rethink for my mystery box challenge, the cards and envelopes fit but not to nicely.
I made my own DSP on Whisper White Card with Betsy Blossoms Stamp Set.
I have used Silver 1/8" Ribbon from the Occasions Catalogue.
I love the flower, I made it using the Blossom and Pansy Punch and Watercolor paper.
I wet the paper using my Aqua Painter the added drops of Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder and Smoky Slate Ink Refills, the I rolled in my hands while still wet layered 2 blossoms and 1 pansy, in the middle I punch a little flower from Itty Bitty Punch Set in Silver Glimmer Paper and added a Smoky Slate Candy Dot and added some Dazzling Diamonds to it.
For the straps of the purse I used Large and Small Oval Punches, then I added Candy Dots.
I have just noticed as I am doing this post, that one of the navy dots has fallen of or I forgot to put one on (so please imagine that it is there, I will be fixing it very soon).
I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the eye of bird and Dazzling Diamonds in the middle of the big flowers.

3D Match Box Card

Yesterday I went to craft group at our church, it's a great group of very talented ladies.
I was making a 3D Match Box Card.
My friend Rachael Lewsley from FaceBook and fellow demonstrator from Busselton, Western Australia designed this card and has a video tutorial.
This is inside the box, I have used Flower Shop Stamp Set and the matching Pansy Punch.
I also punched some butterflies using Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly Punches and I used the Bird Punch for the bird and leaves.
The colour combo is Soft Sky, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White.
I added Large Pearl Basic Jewels to the centre of the flowers and Basic Rhinestones Jewels to the butterflies and bird.
The flowers are on 3 tiers and fold down to close the box.
There is room at the back of the box for a gift card or/and some small chocolates or small gift.
For the front I sponged with Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi and Rose Red onto the Flower Garden Embossing Folder.
I loved this effect.
I matted the Whisper White, then added some retired seam binding ribbon.
I then stamped happy birthday stamp from Label Love and punched it out with Artisan Label Punch that matches the Stamp Set.
To complete it I mounted 2 butterflies and added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
This weeks challenge over at Late Night Stampers #243 - Punch Art.
So I will submit this for their challenge.
Here's Rachael Lewsley U Tube Video.
There is room on the back of the box for your message.
Thanks Rachael for sharing your video.

Same But Different

Yesterday I had fun making two cards using the Mojo Monday 334 Sketch.
It's the first time that I have partaken in a Mojo Monday Sketch.
They are the same but different,
Here's the sketch.
The colour combo is Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.
I haven't used Bermuda Bay before, it looks great in this combo.
I turned the sketch around so my card is short and stout.
I folded an A5 Basic Gray card in half long ways.
I inked Bright Blossoms and A Dozen Thoughts for the very first time making these cards.
I cut the stamped image out with Window Frames Collection Framelits, also for the first time.
I then made a envelope in Quatrefancy Specialty DSP, using the Envelope Punch Board.
It is the first time I have made an envelope with it, I have made boxes with it.
Here's the other card with is a standard A5 card.
There was lots of first times in making these cards.
I have been making 3 very fun cards today, I will pop back and show you them in the next few days.

Be My Valentine

I have made Paul (DH) a card and dozen red roses today.
The colour combo for the card is Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White.
I have used 'Clearly for you and Pendant Park' Stamp Sets.
Added ribbon and some bling to finish it.
I found the tutorial for these roses on Lynn Pratt blog HERE.
These are made with Real Red and Garden Green card stock, Tasteful Trim Die, Five Petal and Build a Blossom Punches.
In the tutorial Lynn uses garden wire for the stems, but I used 10" bamboo skewers and florist tape because I had these in the house.
Hope you have all had a great day.
