Just Add Ink or JAI for short is a great challenge site.
It is run by a group of Aussie and NZ Demonstrators.
Each week on a Friday there is a new challenge
This week is a colour challenge.
I showed you the card that I made for Paul's DH birthday yesterday using these colours.
Here's my second card.
I have used the 'See Ya Later' Stamp Set again, it's a great set of 4 stamps which is one of the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets.
I stamped the birthday stamp in Island Indigo Ink on Whisper White Card Stock, then cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.
It fits just beautifully in the framelit, I cut 2 more frames one in Real Red and the other in Pool Party cut them in half them mounted them behind the frame for a border.
I used a sketch that I found on the net somewhere a while ago, so if is your sketch please let me know and I will give you your credit.
I stamped 'Woodgrain' Stamp, using the same colour ink as card on the large Pool Party piece of card and Sahara Sand piece of card.
Then I run the Sahara Sand and smaller Pool Party card through the Big Shot with Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
I stamped a little bit of the 'Woodgrain' Stamp ink Pool Party on the inside then stamped Happy Birthday from 'Bring on the Cake' Stamp Set in Island Indigo.
To complete the card I added some Island Indigo Ribbon which is a retired ribbon from last years SAB.
A great masculine card. I like how you have layered the different colours to border your greeting. Thanks for joining in with our challenge at Just Add Ink this week.
