This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink #298 ... "Just Add V"
So I have used the Beautiful Ride Stamp Set with the VW bug.
I used the colour combo from The Paper Players #282.
I was struggling with this colour combo, so I looked to see if any of the DSP that I had these colours.
Voila I had Schoolhouse DSP.
I love the Tangerine Tango with the square block design on it, so I used that as my back ground.
I stamped the VW bug onto DSP and fussy cut the windows out, then adhered it to Whisper White Card Stock.
I stamped the sentiment from Sunburst Sayings Stamp Set on Daffodil Delight Card and punched it out with 2 1/2' Circle Punch.
I add two pieces of Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, to look a sparkly road and Basic Rhinestones to the wheels.
I added some strips of DSP to the inside then stamped the sentiment.
Considering that I found this colour combo difficult, when I got going I made two more cards.
So I'll be back tomorrow with the other two.

This is so cute, Helen! I love how you've stamped the Beetle on DSP and then cut out the windows - so clever! And your sentiment within the "sun" circle goes so perfectly with the sparkly scene you've created. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat could possibly be cuter than a polka dot Beetle?! My first car was a VW and I love the whole retro vibe of this card, Helen. So glad you joined us this week at The Paper Players!
