Colour Challenge #1

The first challenge for unconvention was a colour challenge.
We were to use at least 2 of the 2010 - 2012 In Colours and 1 neutral.
I used all 5 and Basic Black.
The Stamp Set is 'Every Moment', I stamped it in Stazon Ink.
I coloured it with bleach using Aqua Painters (remember if using bleach with Aqua Painter have clearly labeled)
I used the matching ribbon in Pear Pizzaz and Peach Parfait.
Every Moment is a lovely Stamp Set, it is an outline set great for colouring.
I will be back with some more of the unconvention project.
Till then (I promise I won't disappear again).

Jessica's Birthday

Today is Jessica's (our niece) birthday, she is 18.
We when to Christchurch for a party on Saturday.
It was a great night.
Here's her Gift and Card.
As you can see I got my inspiration for her card from the tool caddy I made her.
I filled the caddy with some basic tools for her, Bone Folder, Mat Pack, Paper Piecer and Hello Blossom Stamp.
This a fantastic single stamp which is great for both card making and scrapbooking and looks fantastic when you use the markers direct to the stamp.
I have make this fancy fold card for her and used Every Moment and Bring on the Cake Stamp Sets.
This another fantastic Stamp Set.
Happy Birthday Jessica.
We hope you aren't shaken about to much tonight.
My prayers are with everyone in Christchurch, my family are all ok.
We felt the quakes down here it was very scary and I know what we feel is nothing compared to what they feel in Christchurch.

Inspired by....

I have been making more Tool Caddies this week, see my original post HERE.
I was inspired by the fabric I was using to make this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesdays Sketch 18 Challenge.
So here's the sketch.
I love this sketch, it's AB FAB for someone like me who mats their mats.
Here's a close up of the daisy from Every Moment Stamp Set, with just a touch of bling, next the tool caddy that inspired it.
Here's the whole card.
I love it.
As I was sewing the caddy I was thinking about the colours, as it is so close to Poppy Parade, Garden Green and Whisper White so of course they are colours I have used for the card.
Supplies List
Stamp Sets: Every Moment and Silhouette Sentiments.
Paper: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Whisper White, DSP Paper Pack - In Colour (level 1 Hostess)

Here is the card I have made for her.
Again this a cased card, I cased Amy Buchanan a Demonstrator is Aussie.

JAI # 34

This weeks challenge is a colour.
My first thought was YUCK!
I'm definitely not a soft pink girl. I haven't got Pretty In Pink Card or Ink, I did have a bit of Pink Pirouette Card from a Assorted In-Colour pack from last year so I borrowed my friends (Liz Thanks) Pink Pirouette Ink Pad.
I had a Sympathy Card to make and thought these colors would lend them selves nicely for it.
I have used 'Every Moment' , 'Thoughts and Prayers' and 'God's Blessings' Stamp Sets.
'Every Moment' is a great Stamp Set for watercolouring.
I have used most of these colours before but  not together, it's good to be out of our comfort zone from time to time.
I'm pleased with how it turned out, even though it doesn't do anything for me.
My niece Jessica (ChCh refugee ) is staying with us, and she loves it.
The colours are my sisters colours and I'm sure she would like it also.
What do you think?
